Tell us what has changed.
Point out whether discomfort is on the inside, outside, or back of your elbow. Describe what happens when you grip, carry, bend, or straighten your arm, and mention repetitive tasks at work or in your sport.
Know what to ask.
Discuss what an evaluation involves, whether this office is the right place for your concern, and whether another provider should assess you first. Before agreeing to care, ask about its purpose, alternatives, costs, and how progress would be reviewed.
Bring your goals.
Think of one or two activities you want to feel more comfortable doing. Bring relevant medical records and a list of previous treatments so you can explain what you have already tried.
