Tell us what has changed.
Describe whether pain feels closer to your groin, the side of your hip, or your buttock. Explain how walking, stairs, sitting, or getting out of a chair feels, and mention any back or leg symptoms.
Know what to ask.
Discuss what an evaluation involves, whether this office is the right place for your concern, and whether another provider should assess you first. Before agreeing to care, ask about its purpose, alternatives, costs, and how progress would be reviewed.
Bring your goals.
Think of one or two activities you want to feel more comfortable doing. Bring relevant medical records and a list of previous treatments so you can explain what you have already tried.
