Tell us what has changed.
Point out whether discomfort is around your heel, arch, toes, or the ball of your foot. Note when it occurs during the day and how footwear, time on your feet, or exercise changes your experience.
Know what to ask.
Discuss what an evaluation involves, whether this office is the right place for your concern, and whether another provider should assess you first. Before agreeing to care, ask about its purpose, alternatives, costs, and how progress would be reviewed.
Bring your goals.
Think of one or two activities you want to feel more comfortable doing. Bring relevant medical records and a list of previous treatments so you can explain what you have already tried.
